Jennifer Joanna Aniston is an American actress, producer and businesswoman. She’s the daughter of Greek-born John Aniston and American actress Nancy Dow. Aniston gained worldwide recognition for portraying Rachel Green on the television sitcom Friends, a role which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, and a Screen Actors Guild Award. Aniston’s box office hits include Bruce Almighty, The Break-Up, Marley & Me, Just Go with It, Horrible Bosses and We’re the Miller, each of which have grossed over $200 million worldwide. Her most critically acclaimed roles included the role of Olivia in Friend with Money, The Good Girl, for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead, and the drama Cake, for which she received nominations for the Golden Globe Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award for Best Actress.
